There are many King Tombs and mummies in the city. Apple is known  with its production. This city, which has a very low rural population, prevents the development of geography. For this reason, technological infrastructure has not developed.

It is said that Amasya takes its name from the famous Amazon Queen Amesia. There is strong evidence that the famous Amazons live here. The Amazons, the warrior women of ancient times, tried to be as far away from men as possible. It is not known why this woman, who hates men, has adopted this behavior. The Amazons, who possessed superior warrior abilities, had a hard time with the great states such as Rome.

There are some opinions that Amazons are not real. But in the archaeological studies, guns were found in women's graves. This fact gives us ideas that such a women's community can be real.
